Want to return to Storybrooke soon? Even though “Once Upon a Time” is not going to be returning to television until the fall, some of its cast members will surface this summer at what will hopefully be a lively (and scoop-filled) event at Comic-Con in San Diego.
According to TV Guide, the panel for the show will be held at the enormous Ballroom 20 on Saturday, July 14, and feature appearances from the likes of Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan), Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), Josh Dallas (Prince Charming), Lana Parrilla (the Evil Queen), and new series regulars Meghan Ory (Red) and Emilie de Ravin (Belle) — who seems to be an especially smart booking when you consider the diehard “Lost” fans who are always in attendance at the event. Executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz also worked on “Lost,” and they will be on hand to help facilitate discussion and dance around dangerous questions concerning the show’s plot
There are some omissions here when it comes to the cast members booked, with the most notable one being Robert Carlyle (Rumpelstiltskin). However, it’s next to impossible to try to fit in every actor in a panel discussion when you are a show that has so many actors constantly in the mix. We will still miss him trying to pull off the character’s trademark giggle, though, in from of thousands of fans.
Season 2 will start shooting soon, and the show should return to ABC in either September or October — with there being a month or two of leeway depending on whether or not the network wants to space the season out, or crunch it together so that they can avoid having long stretches of time without new episodes.
If you can’t be at the panel, don’t fret — we’re going to have plenty of coverage of everything that happens.
