If you REALLY look at the so-called back-door pilot, it’s nothing but a mirror image of the mothership. And why just 8 episodes? And as a couple of puzzle people on another site have already figured out, Janssen is not going to be TOM”S MOM. TBL is not creating another original series. They are just splitting the same story into 2 shows. Have to say that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
