Tuesday night’s new episode of “The Glee Project” is all about sexuality, so for that reason the Oxygen show has decided to bring in someone for the guest mentor position who Robert Ulrich boasts is the “most sexually confident person on ‘Glee'” — Naya Rivera’s (or Santana, as you may know her). We don’t know what song the remaining cast members are performing in order to show off some of their skills, but the clip below via E! News does showcase some of Rivera’s advice to the contestants once the performance has wrapped.
In watching her critique, Rivera seems to be particular taken by a pair of the boys in Blake, who had a playful sort of energy about him during the performance, and Charlie, who she loved on the basis of his beatboxing abilities. On the other hand, she thought that Aylin went a little too far on the racy side, and Nellie found herself holding back — which makes sense, as she mentioned that sexuality is something that makes her pretty uncomfortable.
Based on these comments, we have a feeling that Charlie is ultimately the one who ends up winning and receives the opportunity to have some one-on-one time with Naya — though we don’t actually recall him having that much of a “featured moment” (which is promised to the winner of the challenge) during the “Milkshake / Moves Like Jagger” music video later in the episode.
Hopefully, this episode will provide us with our Naya fix until the fourth season of “Glee” premieres on Fox in the fall. While it does not appear that she will be a major character or appear in every episode, Ryan Murphy has already confirmed that the character (along with multiple other series regulars for season 3) will be turning up at some point.
