For our Sunday morning “American Idol” notes, we’re kicking things off with some album next from Jessica Sanchez — and we’re ending with a tribute to Adam Lambert via his fans.
Jessica hints at October release date – Jessica Sanchez is officially going to be one of the busiest teenagers around over the next several months. She’s going on tour, preparing for a rumored arc on “Glee,” and she also has a new album coming out this fall.
Speaking to the LA Music Examiner at the tour’s media day, Jessica explained that her fans can expect it to come out this fall.
“We’ve been talking about the release date … probably sometime in October.
“Just been working on that … Listened to a couple of songs that we might cut soon … definitely be working on that while on tour.”

Casey Abrams’ National Anthem – If you have read our site much over the years, then you know already that we are massive fans of Casey Abrams. We love his new album, his sound, and he’s just a pretty cool guy.
With all this in mind, we wish we had more positive things to say about his performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the Mets vs. Yankees game leading into this weekend. At least he tried to do something different with the song — even though it didn’t quite end up working.
Check out Adam Lambert’s fan manifesto – With the O Music Awards streaming online June 27 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time, we have an opportunity to see Adam walk away with the Fan Army FTW Award. We all know that his fanbase is one of the most passionate group of people out there, so with this in mind, the “fan manifesto” they have created for him on the website is quite incredible.
So long as you are in the Untied States, you can check out this video over at the awards show’s official site. Unfortunately, MTV fails to realize that Adam’s fans are a global bunch rather than just limited to America.
As always, check back soon for more “American Idol” news!
