Kit Harrington is turning into a rather hot commodity following the success of “Game of Thrones.” Last year, he had actually secured one of the lead roles alongside “The Killing” star Joel Kinnaman in “Arthur & Lancelot” — but unfortunately, the project was later shut down after concerns about the budget and the lack of star power with the leads.
While the following news concerning the actor (who many of us know fondly as Jon Snow) is not related to him being an action star in medieval times, it does at least give him an opportunity to try out something new — voice acting. According to Variety, Harrington is in talks to voice a villain in the upcoming sequel to the animated hit “How To Train Your Dragon.”
This is not the only film that Harrington has up his sleeve at the moment. but he will also appear in the upcoming projects “Greenland Time” as well as opposite his former “Game of Thrones” co-star Sean Bean in “Silent Hill: Revelation 3D.” He recently filmed a part alongside Jeff Bridges in the film “The Seventh Son.”
The most surprising thing to us is how Harrington is able to find the time to work on all these projects, as the HBO series requires a heavy commitment — not to mention that it also forces you to travel to some pretty remote locations in order to film.
Are you glad to see Harrington expand his portfolio in so many exciting ways? Season 3 of “Game of Thrones” starts production later this year, so be sure and check back for some more coverage.
