“Pretty Little Liars” has been on a crazy ride through the first few episodes of season 3, and it is only going to get crazier once you remember one thing — meeting the family members of other people on a show like this rarely ends up being a good thing.
In news that was first posted on Twitter, former “Revenge” star Robbie Amell is going to be coming on board the ABC Family teen drama playing the role of Eric Khan, who just so happens to be the brother of the not-forgetting Noel Khan. Will he be just as sinister? It’s still to be seen — and while TVLine is reporting that the gig is currently just for one episode, there is some potential for him to stop by for some multiple appearances in the future if things end up going well.
When you consider just how few people the Liars can trust as it is, seeing another person potentially enter the fray is never a good thing. At the moment, some of the biggest adversaries appear to be Lucas (who is obvious hiding something underneath his layers upon layers of emo clothing) and Melissa (who had plenty of her own to hide courtesy of not actually having a baby). The most surprising thing at the moment, though, is that Jenna seems to be falling off the radar as a villain at the moment, as she gave a pretty interesting explanation as to why she continued to hide her regaining her sight in order to be viewed as less of a threat by whoever set her house on fire. You can also throw Mona into the mix here somewhere — but it’s pretty much a given at this point that she is evil.
What do you think about this casting — and do you have the same sort of feeling as us when it comes to how new faces in Rosewood (especially when it comes to family) are never good news for the Liars? For those curious, Robbie is the brother of Stephen Amell, who is set to be the star of the new CW series “Arrow.”
