If you loved Adam Lambert’s song “Voodoo,” than the following bit of news is almost certain to make you smile — the singer is teaming up with Sam Sparro yet again. This story was confirmed by Sparro himself on his Twitter account, who had this to say about working on a new track:
“About to finish another epic song with [Adam Lambert] and [Lester Mendez].”
While we don’t know what this particular song will sound like just yet, “Voodoo” became a bit of an underground hit for Adam fans to the point where it was used in the opening number during the Glam Nation Tour in 2010 — despite it not being on the standard American release of “For Your Entertainment.”
Adam is showing that he has no problem returning to familiar faces for this new project — he has also worked with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic (who collaborated with him in the past on “Sleepwalker”).
We still don’t have anything closely resembling a release date, but odds are we will probably see this new album (pending a delay) in late October or early November. This may not even be the only song that Adam has worked with Sparro on for his next release.
What do you think about Adam working with Sam again?
