I do think he could have handled that better, but judging from what Natalie said post-game she wanted a woman to win and it doesn’t seem as though there was much he could do to change her mind.

It brought to mind when Tyson in Survivor was asked in jury why he was rude to Katie. He said he was glad he was asked as it gave him a chance to apologize for losing his temper. That’s how to go about winning.
