Yep. Most of these people don’t get Masterchef USA is a low standards reality TV show around people rather than the cooking. The contestants get classes to help them pass the challenges. The judges favor people depending on what will get them the most viewers by eliminating boring people and keeping people who are interesting or attractive.

Top Chef is the only legit reality TV cooking competition on American television and even that show has plenty of reality TV elements that undermine the integrity but at least its much more real than Maybecook USA.

As always, Masterchef Australia is actually the most legit masterchef show out of all the variations from other countries.

Just look at the utter lack of police response to the dozens of stranded innocent motorists in Charlotte who were doing nothing wrong but were nevertheless in danger from violent hordes who cannot control themselves. Yet just days later, some white kid decides to play an obnoxious joke by donning a gorilla suit and handing out bananas at a BLM "rally" in TN, and they practically call out the National Guard while the media goes apoplectic over it. The hypocrisy of the Politically Correct is overwhelming.

In reply to Faith. Well said, everyone. I believe David's idea of "fair play" and "appropriate behavior" is unfortunately shared by many others in this country. You can see their common hostility and lack of impulse control on the evening news, most notably in cities like Charlotte, Milwaukee, and Baltimore.

people here doesn’t understand that this is a cooking “show”, not a master chef “competition”. all the bs about competition is just that, bs.

gordon didn’t save david because of favoritism, because the eps would be 50% without him continuing.

want to watch a real competition where aspiring cooks attempt to recreate master pieces? watch the australian version of the show.

What crap! I lost all respect for Gordon. He never should have chased David to ask him to stay. He never should have pickef David over Dan and he blew the last decision as well. What is his deal? I have no desire to watch the final episode after watching them all. Totally lost all regard for the show. Feel like Ramsay owes me for the time i invested watching previous episodes. Wont waste any more time on this series.

I’m not on the set of these shows, but Ramsay’s shows always has too much drama. His Hell’s Kitchen US version got on my nerves with all of the drama from the ‘chefs in training’ and Ramsay himself throwing tantrums. My blood pressure would spike each time I watched. As far as I was concerned the kids in training on this show should not have even been working in Burger King. I just don’t have time for such silly drama anymore and I’m only commenting because my ‘significant other’ watches everything this man puts on TV. I see unfairness and favoritism on these shows all the time. As long as you keep tuning in they will continue to insult our intelligence.

ITA agree with you—-let the little f’er walk off and stay off. Cannot believe GR went running, BOLTING after him ! He’s already shown he has a horrible temper in a previous episode,—now he goes and quits cause him doesn’t wike hims ingweedients —boo hoo hoo. He should not have been followed and should’ve been allowed to regret his stupid decision and maybe learn from it just a bit.
