We have seen “Dexter” in a variety of unusual locations over the course of the past several seasons, but we’re not sure if there is one out there that could be more uncomfortable to our star serial killer than a place where physical intimacy is replicated on a regular basis.
Thanks to the castings of Ray Stevenson and Katia Winter, we already know that a gentleman’s club is going to play a key role during at least part of season 7. Now, TVLine is reporting that this setting will indeed have a “sizable role.” With that in mind, we’re probably looking at multiple episodes here (if not the majority of the season).
So what sort of crimes could be happening here? If we had to guess, we would assume that it would be some sort of killings associated with dancers at the club, and Stevenson’s character could be quickly identified as a suspect. However, there is still the issue of Yvonne Strahovski’s Hannah that has to be factored into the equation at some point. Since she is helping Miami Metro in some capacity (possibly with these cases), she could be considered an ally — but is she really? Considering that Dexter has a talent for finding out the truth about people, we are probably going to find out at some point pretty early in the season what Hannah may be hiding.
Considering how we have seen Dexter struggle at times when it comes to intimacy (even the grinding-people-for-money kind that we see at clubs), are you excited to see how this story plays out?
