I've heard that! I'm super-behind on so much good stuff right now.

I could imagine seeing Turturro back for another season since his character's so interesting, but at the same time I think they could tell another story with new characters that'd be compelling in its own way. The big thing I'd want is for there to be some distance. True Detective S2 felt rushed and couldn't really the capture the greatness of S1.

Very good recap of the finale. I had read a number of articles speculating about the series continuing or at least the concept of it continuing with a new crime to investigate and some of the same characters like "True Detective." After watching the finale I didn't get the impression that was likely. I'm disappointed in that I guess. John Turturro was brilliant and I'd love to see him continue his role in a new series. Michael K. Williams was excellent as well. Btw, you can check out Michale K. Williams in "Black Market", a very interesting series on Viceland
