Mellie as president is silly. a junior 6 months senator ?. Olivia is no longer the lead . Rowan , Mellie and Jake are taking the lead over her. Olivia is a crayzy sutpid woman who love power. No joy in her life. Scandal is no longer a good show since season 3. Creepy spy, and trash plots and story. Scandal is the same plots .The only best thing can happen to olivia is she became the woman she wanst to be, powerful, respectable. and the only person who cand do it will be Fitz.a friendship. he is the only one ,who can do it without romance ,he really cares about her. but as we know Shonda will kil him off the show before the end of season 6. because , some weak actor has to shine

Those characters are irrelevant and forced into the show. Most fans hate the spy nonsense which is badly executed.

Mellie can remain as a Senator but I would hate to see her as President. I hope Cyrus and Vargas win the election so we see more of Cyrus the political manipulator.

I hope Scandal season 6 goes back to being about a crisis manager handling cases with her OPA team with the White House drama in the background. Season 2 had the best balance of Olivia’s professional and personal life.
