There’s finally some good news now for Maria Shriver. After a near-fatal surfing accident last week involving her song Christopher Schwarzenegger, the teenager has been released from the hospital to begin his recovery at home.
In a series of Twitter messages, Shriver was the first one to announce the news:
” Blessed to be able to take Christopher out of the hospital last night. What a feeling of relief to know that he’s going to be fine. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. The whole family, especially Christopher, felt your love. We were very lucky. Many patients and families we met have been there so long and have no end in sight. I pray for their recovery. I will forever be grateful to the amazing doctors, nurses and hospital staff in the ICU who helped my son.”
Meanwhile, even Arnold Schwarzenegger himself resurfaced on the social media landscape following an absence (largely brought on by his own cheating scandal) to say the following:
“I knew Christopher couldn’t be stopped! Big thanks to all the doctors, nurses & staff at UCLA that helped him recover.”
Even in the midst of a troubling divorce, let’s be happy that this family has something at the moment to celebrate.
