Fox has just announced the official premiere dates for their fall schedule, and it looks as though they have done the right thing when it comes to “The X Factor” — moving up Britney Spears and Demi Lovato’s big debut in order to avoid it creating a logjam at the end of the year.
While most of this schedule is a bit predictable, the other notable moves include starting “Raising Hope” in favor of a “New Girl”-packed premiere night, and keeping “Touch” on hold potentially until baseball playoffs come to a close.

Overall, Fox has what is in some ways a solid, predictable schedule — with its biggest holes being Tuesdays (as the two-hour comedy block failed to take off this past spring) as well as Mondays following “Bones” (mostly because “The Mob Doctor” is unproven and the network has struggled to launch new drama series as of late).
