Adam Lambert preparing for next concert in Quebec

Greg Hernandez

It’s been a while since we have seen Adam Lambert on stage, but this Friday is going to provide that opportunity as he will be playing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival in the town of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec.

Before we get into any detail about the town itself, let’s talk briefly about the festival and the city itself. Although we may have never heard of it before, the St. Agathe en Feux Festival is a pretty big occasion in the predominantly-French-speaking town. Adam is not the only major perform playing the event (as Kenny Rogers will also be performing), and it is expected that people are going to come from all over the province (if not the world) to check it out.

However, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts is hardly a major city, with a population of just under 10,000 people. It is also situated about an hour’s drive north of Montreal, and a little bit further from Canada’s capital city of Ottawa. It is not the first time Adam has performed in the province, having been at the Balloon Festival during the Glam Nation Tour last year.

As for the question that most people want to know the most — the setlist — that has been kept under wraps. While Adam certainly does have some new music by this point, it’s unlikely that he will show too much off (largely because it benefits him the most to debut a new single on the national stage). If he does play a song from his upcoming album to release later this year, it’s likely going to be one that is not a lead single. At the end of the day, don’t go expecting anything new — go expecting a good time, and you are probably not going to be disappointed.
