Evan Green, hand down and no doubt about it. She’s magical and gut-wrenchingly brilliant on Penny Dreadful. She’s immersed herself completely in the darkness and unnerving nature of her role. The episode in the mental ward alone is worthy of an award. If she doesn’t at least get nominated, it would be criminal.
Caitriona and Shiri are also phenomenal and deserve a nom as well.

This is criminal. Sarah Lancashire in Happy Valley would beat all of these hands down. Mariska Hartigay give us a break if you wanted to give her an Emmy you could’ve give her won years ago.

As much as I love Caitriona Balfe as Claire , I think that Eva Green is a true Goddess, she is outstanding and she definitely deserves an Emmy

Balfe should win. She is perfect for the role of Claire. She has done an amazing job coming from an unknown to making the part of Claire her own.

My vote goes to Shiri Appleby. She’s worked in the business for 30+ years With over 70+ roles to her credit. This is the year. UnREAL has been her coming out party. Having seen everything shes been in shes never been better. She has made me forget shes acting. I cant picture anyone else playing the role of Rachel. She puts 110% into everything she does and it shows. I know shes’s a probably a long shot and a dark horse. Anything can happen. Fingers crossed.
