‘Game of Thrones’ season 6, episode 7 photo: First look at the Blackflish’s return!

It’s been quite some time since we have seen a certain member of House Tully grace “Game of Thrones,” but rest assured that the waiting is now coming to an end! On Sunday night’s new episode, the Blackfish is coming back, and you can see a brand-new photo of the character in action below!

In many ways, you can argue that the foundation for this character has been set for a rather long time thanks to a wide array of different things that we’ve had an opportunity to see on the HBO show. With that said, the clear throughlines to Riverrun on this past episode signified that the time really was right to see him back in the flesh. The last time we saw him, it was back during the days before the Red Wedding. Now that we’ve got him back, we figure that he will have quite a bit to say about Jaime Lannister being in his neck of the woods. Jaime was ordered in that direction by King Tommen, but how willing will he really be to go in that direction?

Over the course of this episode, hopefully the foundation will be laid for a story that gives us more of this region over the final episodes of the season. After all, it is a million times better than Dorne, and we feel like if nothing else, that has to give the story at least a little bit more positivity around it, right?
