Their relationship seemed to stall mid-season 2. I liked seeing Burgess grow and develop after their break-up, I felt like she became stronger and more confident. And I feel like Ruzek didn’t change at all. Relationships at work are tricky and messy, and Burgess clearly moved on. I don’t think she should step backwards. Plus, I have the feeling Ruzek will be engaged to someone else within the next 2 seasons.
