‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ notes: Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga

Another new episode airs on Sunday night.

We have a new episode of “The Real Hosuewives of New Jersey” airing on Sunday night, but before we get to that we have to talk a bit about there is something we missed out on a little earlier in the week — the release of Melissa Gorga’s new single “Rockstar.”

There’s something rather unusual about this song, and it’s almost shameful to admit it as someone who openly mocks just about every “Housewives” star who comes out and randomly proclaims that they are going to start being artists in the music industry. This song is at least catchy in a way that you listen to in your car but never tell your friends about, because you are ashamed. For a song about being a rockstar, you would actually think that there would be a bit more in the way of rock music incorporated into it somewhere.

It really doesn’t matter, though, whether or not we kind-of like the song — check it out below and leave your own thoughts!

As for Sunday night’s new episode, the focus will once again be indirectly on Gorga, though this time through the lens of Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita relentlessly talking about her. Teresa seems intent at this point on driving her longtime friend up the wall, and her way of doing so is by never letting go of a family feud that has enveloped her life as well as this season.

Does she start to realize that forcing Jacqueline to get involved is going to push her friend away? We have already seen the beginnings of cracks, and by the end of this season it is looking as though they may be large enough for people to fall into them.

Let’s hope that at some point, these three ladies manage to work something house — we don’t really think we can take several more seasons of them complaining about the same things.
