Reality star and businesswoman Bethenny Frankel is taking a different approach than many of the other celebrities out there — rather than just hyping up a product on the merits of her name, she is instead trying to showcase the merits of the product.
With that, Frankel (whose is currently the star of Bravo’s “Bethenny Ever After“) has joined forces with Lotta Luv to create two new brands to be made available at Walmart beginning in November — Skinnygirl Face & Body Solutions and Skinnygirl Mommy. These products will include a variety of must-have products like lip treatments, body solutions, and also various gift sets in order to provide beauty at a reasonable price — meanwhile, the Skinnygirl Mommy line to provide so much-needed relief and pampering to hard-working moms who spend a ton of time on their feet.
In addition to making the announcement, Bethenny also had plenty to say about her no-nonsense approach to speaking the truth about her products, and how her product works both in terms of practicality and performance:
“[Promises like] ‘You’re going to look like Heidi Klum in two days’ or ‘[Look] like you had a face-lift’ have always bothered me. Skin care can be confusing and I want to be straightforward.
“I do buy brands that are not expensive, ones that don’t spend all the money on the packaging but on the ingredients inside.”
