In reply to georgee. But there are many fans who disagree with your point of view. Remember at the start of this season when Beckett walked out on RC, there was an out cry from many fans for RC to divorce KB. That is the segment of the fan base (the non-shippers) who will tune in to Castle 2.0.

What you like is apparently what I dislike. The episodes where it’s Castle the Clown where he doesn’t have the brainpower to solve cases because he’s too busy believing in every superstition under the sun. I won’t be watching if that’s what they are going to deliver.

s night we got to see what Castle would be like without Beckett. We had the five, Rick and the boys, Castle daughter and the Beckett want to be Hayley (Toks). It was sad, Is this really what you want to watch Castle Fans? In 2009 a writer had a dream of a beautiful love story, and Castle started. In 2015-2016 season we had two show runners who had a different dream, and set out to destroy that beautiful love story that all the liked. And they have done a great job of it, Has they sat in their offices giving themselves high fives on the wonder job they were doing clueless to what the fans really wanted. I do feel somewhere after episode 2 they were on the wrong track, but to arrogant to change. They must not read all the negative comments that are posted in so many places or they just do not give a crap. They know what is best for us to watch. Last night episode 21 you think they would have given us a lot more of Rick and Kate time, but no we can not have that and had to see the five. And are we going to get an apology from these two show runners, never happen, still giving themselves high fives for a job well done. Now we are told Castle 2.1 we start with a clean slate, so lets take a look at that clean slate. We started with Jones quiting and the firing of Katic ( for what ever reason ABC is running out of money, Paul Lee gave her to good of a contract last time, he and she had to be fired over that or Fillion did not want to her to be in Castle any more) the list of excuse could never end. So to finish the cleaning job the BS story line will be over. And if they really want to finish the cleaning job our two show runners should look into a mirror and those two folks should go to. If ABC still refuses to negotiate with Katic , it hard negotiating with yourself. They should just cancel the show.

For me “No Beckett – NO Castle!” Also, as I’ve mentioned before, the
series ended at the awards banquet when the cast was together and happy
and before the LockSet BS started.
P.S. If they kill off Kate next week the writers will have taken the easy way out and killed off their audience too!!!
