Kanye West, Jay-Z announce ‘Watch the Throne’ tour

The album cover – Riccardo Tisci

Kanye West and Jay-Z obviously have some high hopes for their upcoming collaboration album, so much so that they are going to be taking it around North America on what is for now a 24-city tour spanning everywhere from Toronto to Los Angeles.

As a part of this tour, the two rap giants have created a name for their act — in “The Throne” (which of course gives a whole new meaning to the album “Watch the Throne,” as well). The album is set to drop on iTunes on August 8, and will be in stores on August 12.

We can be sure such songs as “H.A.M.” and “Otis” are probably going to be part of the setlist, we have to hope that both artists will take the time out to perform a few of their solo hits (see “99 Problems” or “All of the Lights”).
