We are seeing what they want us to see plus so far all scene’s are from second to last episode. If Ziva dies it will be the last episode. You are right about how they write the woman tho

I’m very excited for Trent Kort returning. And I hope Fornell doesn’t die. I love Fornell/Gibbs scenes!

As for me, I preferred the Tony/Ziva friendship than the (possible) Tony/Ziva love. I would have rather liked to see Ziva re-connecting with her past and starting over again knowing where she belongs – may it be Israel or the States. But, well, that’s not going to happen, so…

We’ ‘ll know soon. My hope is that Kort reveals that Ziva is being hunted cause she was forced by CIA or Homeland into some secret op 3 yrs ago, Tony & Tim got jobs back in exchange. Now Pursuer gets taken down, Hero Tony leading charge. Now Tony leaves to finally be with her somewhere ( LA baby! Where he can guest on NCIS LA). New Family First.

Oops, haven’t watched that yet.
I was just thinking in general about reasons as to why Tony might leave.
I can’t really think about anything else so far than checking on Ziva or Sr. dying.

Or leaving to lead his own team, of course. But I doubt that will be the reason.

But, who knows…

Tonys “chipperness” in his finale clip as he packs his desk implies he’s upbeat. I don’t think Sr’s death would create that reaction

I also don’t think Ziva will die, esp. not without Cote being there to shoot an actual death scene.

Maybe Tony decides to leave to check on Ziva?

As for the death, I could imagine Dinozzo Sr. dying – and Tony maybe leaving to re-focus or something like that?

On the other hand, NCIS seems to feel like loving killing off characters in general, if you think about Franks and Dorneget.
And all characters are broken in one way or another, if you think of Ellie having been brought in as a “healthy” character and then having to go through divorce. I hated that! Only McGee now seems to become “healthy” with his relationship with Delilah.

Seems like the only thing NCIS knows what to do with strong women: kill em or break em. Ncis Strong Woman body count:
Kate, Paula, Jenny, kichelle, Jackie, Diane. Ziva was only broken, so far.
I don’t think Ziva dies, cause Tony is pretty chipper in some of the finale scenes I saw as he packed up his desk. I think he’d be devastated if Ziva died.
