The season 2 finale of “Better Call Saul” aired earlier this week, and after a little bit of a delay, we’re finally here to give you some further insight on the end of the road with our standard co-host in Jason Prager. We both have very strong opinions on the episode, and in what should be a surprise to pretty much no one out there, one of us liked it, and the other one had an opinion that was pretty close to the opposite of that.
In this podcast, we do more than discuss the events of the finale, and some of what worked / did not. We also go more into why certain things were problematic, and in the right circumstances could have worked better. Also, we discuss larger trends, and spend the majority of the end of this talking further about what we’d like to see on an upcoming third season. We like to think that this is by and large a really eventful discussion, and we cover a lot of ground about this show as a whole. There’s ultimately a lot to look forward to still here, even if we didn’t agree on this particular episode.
While we don’t mention it in this video, we’re going to be discussing next the final episodes of “Saturday Night Live” this season, at least before getting more into something new in the summer. That is something that we’ll figure out soon, so we’ll hopefully have an announcement in due time.
