We’ve been hard at times on “Better Call Saul” this season, but at the same time there has been good reason for that: We realize what the show is capable of. When it’s got the drama going, this is arguably one of the best shows on TV … and it showed it on Monday night.
We don’t necessarily think we’re spoiling anything when we say that both of us on the “Better Call Saul” CarterMatt Podcast (being Jason Prager and Matt Carter) really enjoyed this episode; as a matter of fact, the greatness of “Nailed” (which is the episode’s title) afforded us so many more opportunities to talk about story theories in a rather long span of time. There’s a heck of a lot of goodness in here as we get into everything from the meaning of Mike’s latest scheme to whether or not the end of Chuck McGill is here.
To go along with all of this, we’ve also got some bold / fun predictions in store at the end of the podcast for what could come in the finale; not only that, but we’ll start to take a look ahead at season 3 and what the show could potentially bring to us in terms of great storylines. Hopefully, there’ll be a few surprises that will also make for some really great conversation pieces, as well.
