Lots of my favorite shows get canceled without closure due to fair weather fans. I will say however even though this season leaves me wanting more Crane, with Abbie’s story concluded somewhat nicely, it wouldn’t be completely awful if the show ends here. I’d hate to get invested in a new character only to have the show be axed early.

SleepyHollow fans have already been put through the wringer with a truly terrible S2 and then a mixed-bag-at-best S3. It’s not as though the departure of Beharie (which was not handled well) is the first thing SleepyHeads have suffered.

Maybe Fox has enough invested in SleepyHollow and enough holes in the fall schedule to bring it back for a 4th season, but they may have to find new people to watch it as so many of the original fans are worn out.
