Season 3 of “The Walking Dead” is not going to just feature a new setting in prison — there will also be some other major surprises coming up.
As the photo to the left shows, Michael Rooker’s character of Merle is clearly back — despite suspicions that he may have been dead after cutting off his hand all the way back in season 1. Not only has he come up with a rather unique attachment for his appendage, but he’s surely going to be as awful of a person as he was in the first few episodes that we saw him.
While we are already getting excited to see Daryl’s reaction to his brother still be around, we’re going to have to wait a while longer. The 16-episode season of the show is not going to be back until the fall, and even at that point it will likely be divided in half again like it was during season 2.
Rooker joins some new characters gracing the TV version of “The Walking Dead” for the first time, including Michonne (Danai Gurira) and The Governor (David Morrissey).
How excited are you to see this character back in action?
