I don't think this means the show is ending this storyline happened before with hodge and his family this maybe dereks way out or it could be another team member and they are making us think it is derek but i think the show will continue next season. The show didn't clapse when emily and gideon left so i think the show will go on. I think he will be missed but i still think this show has life and to be honest when they had derek become a father i had a feeling his days were numbered as well emily is coming back for an episode so maybe this is why. I think of late derek has taken a back seat but i think as sad as it is the show can go on (not to mention agents die in real life so it just raises the stakes in the show they have killed agents like when emily died but it was fake and it didn't really hit home with strauss) I can't see garcia leaving but i don't see criminal minds going anywhere and will be back next season

In reply to A. I sure hope they don't kill anyone off, that will give them an excuse for coming back if they are just wounded and need time off. Especially since Savannah is having a baby. Derrick may just need some time with his wife and baby for a while. Here's hoping.

I can’t take garcia nor Morgan leaving. Every character is important, but can you see the show without Morgan or garcia? I love all of them but these 2 are closer to my heart. So please don’t kill either of them off.

I rewatched the promo a few times… I’m wondering now if they are pulling a bait and switch. Morgan walks into the house and sees the video feeds of what looks like the hospital corridor and three other places… Perhaps they’re feeds of BAU members? And what looks at first like him saying “Baby Girl” and then being shot, actually now seems to be him *watching* something bad happen (maybe on the screens) as he says “Baby Girl” … So maybe it’s not Derek who dies or leaves, but one of the other team members? Just a thought. I really hope it’s not Garcia either!

Since MGG said this last summer that he is directing an episode where a “regular” is leaving the show…and he’s directing this coming episode…and with all that’s happenedthe past couple of weeks… I think it’s fairly safe to assume that Morgan is either leaving or dying…
