My guess? She’s pregnant.

It would make sense, given the chaotic schedule they’ve been keeping.
It will be a difficult thing for her to give up front point guard in raids, but she’s begun doing that anyway in recent shows.

Given her medical history after being shot, its also going to be a difficult pregnancy, so my full guess, is that they become a fully recognized couple again & that, fingers crossed, NEXT season we’ll see a bouncing baby boy Castle, or fraternal twins; Boy (Roy, for one name, & Castle’s & Kate’s father’s name would be my guess) AND Girl (Kate’s mother’s name followed by Martha’s inserted here) Castle join the ranks.

Locksat, is tied to Kate’s mother’s death. We KNOW that it HAS to be somehow resolved enough for Kate to be safe enough to feel okay about blending a career & starting a family.

There have certainly been enough mothers on the show, showing that a fully successful career can be completed while “on the force” & Captain Beckett has made it up the police ladder in NY, so it would’nt be the worst revelation, so long as we get a season NINE & possibly TEN out of it.

Blending Castle’s daughter into the Sleuth for hire business makes huge sense & gives new dad to be Castle, even MORE ammunition and fodder for book writing. While his main muse might be down for the count briefly, Kate can come back as the newer fiercer, charming, gorgeous mama LIONESS that she is…

Cliffhanger enough.
Locksat finale can wait.

The clip we see regarding Kate saying “I can’t do this any more” and Castle responding with ” Good! Neither can I.” Would indicate that they both realize that they must work together to solve LokSat. This revelation should lead to an exchange of all the information that each has on LokSat and to Kate moving back in with Castle in episode 16 as previously stated. This should lead to the life changing increase in trust and understanding and a determination to stop any lying to each other. This, then, should lead to the strengthening of their marriage promised by the show runners in interviews before the season even started. Too much to hope for I guess but we can hope can’t we.

In reply to Dr. Steve Jenkins. You need to go to abc castle news and read the article dated 3/14, it is not good, it was placed by Mimi Heimbrod. You will have to come up with your own conclusion. I have not seem this any other place today. I just hope we have not seem our last episode of Castle, they have them completed up to episode 19, I know nothing about 20 and 21.

“We are going to automatically assume the two of them are together” could be a bad assumption considering the inane things that have happened so far this season. It could mean that the two of them are going to get a fake (or real?) divorce just to firm up their breakup. However, your assumption would be the much preferred interpretation.

In reply to georgee. Good point and I'm sure he used his exposure from Castle to negotiate the AT&T gig. The sooner he is gone, the better. CASKETT is about the chemistry of Castle and Beckett working together - whatever the case or problem. Vikram has polluted that chemistry.

With the future of the series uncertain and even moreso, SK’s return a probable no go, we have Mr Hawley now changing his tune about a cliffhanger. More untruths from him, a theme all season. This big revelation may or may not have Kate moving back home, but Im not counting on a happy ending they’ve pretty much been promising for 7 years.
‘You cannot leave what is always at ur side’. Apparently you can.
