You know what they say: If you want to make Jason Prager happy, it really is as simple as putting Tuco back on “Better Call Saul.” Monday night’s new episode of the AMC series was very Mike-based and featured the return of the character, and as a result of that it ended up being our podcast co-host’s favorite episode of the season so far.
There was a great deal to like in here from Mike, and in this latest edition we discuss his decision to not kill Tuco, what this means for his future with Nacho, and also whether or not Mike’s past is still influencing him to not break completely bad … at least not yet.
Of course, we do also spend a little bit of time in here discussing Kim Wexler, whether it be the danger that her career is in, her relationship with Jimmy, or how much more she can really take on this show before deciding to just get away from all of the chaos. Maybe something big is coming soon … we at least hope that it is, since you otherwise run the risk of this story losing a little bit of steam.
In the end, this is a fun, relatively-short chat about the episode, complete with a tiny cat cameo if you make it to the end of the video. Somehow, we’re now becoming almost like John Oliver in promising animals if you watch from start to finish. We’ll be back next week.
