After it initially appeared as though “Glee” was going to be skipping Comic-Con this year in order to focus on its upcoming fourth season, a last-minute change now means that we are going to see some of the students past and present from McKinley High in San Diego, after all.
TVLine is reporting that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Darren Criss, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Naya Rivera are all going to make up the panel when it happens on Saturday, July 14 from 6-7:00 p.m. at the Indigo Room. (Thanks to the late announcement, it was not able to book the larger Hall H that the show had last year.) The only real notable absences are Chris Colfer, Matthew Morrison, and executive producer Ryan Murphy — who is going to be hard at work on “American Horror Story.”
While it is unclear just how many details the cast will be able to share about what is coming up for them on season 4, this panel could mark one of the first times that we really find out some tangible details about how season 4 of the show will work — including how much McKinley will be featured and if Monteith’s Finn will eventually abandon his idea of joining the Army to be with Rachel in New York.
Are you happy to see “Glee” coming to Comic-Con this year, or have you always been in the camp confused as to why it is a staple of the convention to begin with?
