In reply to georgee. georgee, I do so agree with your comments, Although I am not sure the writers are really going to do it in time ,I may be wrong (hope so) . Only time will tell and of course all this was speculation from former head of ABC Paul Lee who is gone .Do we may be seeing the end of the series anyway.

I really like watching her and her dad growing up together in the first seven seasons. But here is my problem, for the last two months all we have heard about are spin offs, cancellations and low ratings. The low rating problems started last summer with all the talk about a devastating split and separation of Rick and Kate. The long time fans did not want that to happen, it did. By the end of episode 2 of season 8, when all the wheels fell off the wagon, somewhere around 3 million fans picked up the tv controller and moved on. We have 9 episodes left starting with to nights, or 6.3 hours of show time left with the end of episode 21. So why can’t they fix the problems they have with this show this season before episode 16, that when Kate finally come home. And spend a little time fixing this season problems instead of talking about spin offs and cancellations. Maybe ABC can do what Fox did with Bones, announce one more season of (9) Castle and at the end of that the show is canceled, and let them all go out the way they should.
