If they go for an original female lead she’d better be beautiful, athletic and
compelling. A lot of the same fans who complain that SPN doesn’t have
strong female leads talk a good game but they won’t watch. Let’s face it, they watch the show for the male eye candy. And second stringers like Jody and claire are just not interesting enough to carry a series.

2. Bobby and Rufus explore the afterlife? Yeah, I’d
watch that, but I doubt that will happen because the CW considers those
gents too darn old. Heck, Jensen and Jared are getting too old now. The CW likes young actors they can exploit for at least a decade.
