Something is up with that! I wonder if Anita Gibbs is having an affair with Hardman, and that Hardman or Tanner has a mole: the black legal secretary who seems so innocent, perhaps?

I don’t trust her, and I don’t believe that her press release about Mike’s promotion to junior partner was just an innocent mistake.

Hardman and Tanner have been after Harvey and Jessica for years, and now that they are TRULY vulnerable they are conspicuously absent…nowhere to be found.

Am I the only one who finds that to be a bit odd? I also remember Louis threatening to kill Hardman. The writers have said that we wouldn’t know who the ultimate culprit is until later. Well, it is now “later”, and we know that Hardman never comes straight forward. He always, ALWAYS makes sneak-attacks and uses other people to do his dirty work.

What if Hardman is behind all of this, and he actually gets killed? He was no doubt recording Louis’s threat. Season 6 could be all about a murder mystery.

It’s also curious that Mike’s undergrad dean hasn’t appeared. Remember, he was the vendictive one who expelled Mike and notified Harvard (that Mike had helped students cheat in calculus) to get his undergraduate transfer acceptance revoked. Why didn’t the prosecution use him instead of Trevor? He would have been much more credible.

Back to Gibbs, I think someone above her is going to figure out that she has done something shady, and she will be ousted at the last minute.

I also think that the real power player in this whole thing is going to let Mike and the firm go. They’ve helped too many powerful clients and companies.

They have a lot of juice, and EVERY reason to protect the firm.

Nobody will go to prison, but don’t be shocked if Hardman and Tanner reappear in the finale licking their chops.

I’d be REALLY shocked if he did. And bummed.
