What I would love is the spin-off about Red’s early years. The problem of making such a show is they won’t be able to use Spader or any other actor from The Blacklist in it. Of course it’s only a problem if you think that the new show needs a familiar face to draw in the audience.

A well-executed spy caper series centered on a solitary gun-for-hire type would be a welcome addition to the procedural-adjacent drama genre.
