I think the writers really messed up here by having the Sky People knowingly elect, by a large margin, a leader who had pledged to slaughter their allies, and then followed through on it (by shooting the 300 soldiers in the back who were sent to protect them.) I mean if they really wanted the grounder army to back off all they had to do was ask.

At this point the whole lot of them are past any kind moral redemption and I'm no longer emotionally invested in anybody from the Ark (except maybe Clarke, Olivia, and Lincoln, all on the periphery the newly aligned and utterly suicidal 'us vs them' group.) I hope they get crushed under Lexa's coalition's heel and have every one of their guns and every single piece of high technology taken away. They lost the provilege by making life or death choices like children. If they're lucky maybe Lexa will spare the old, the women, and the children, but at MINIMUM everyone who participated in the slaughter of allies should be put to death.
