‘America’s Got Talent’: Nick Cannon was skeptical about Tim Poe

“America’s Got Talent” was off on Monday night courtesy of the Stanley Cup Finals, but we do still have some rather interesting comments to share courtesy of the show’s host Nick Cannon about the Tim Poe controversy from last week.
Days after it was first revealed that the former veteran was not truthful about certain parts of his military experience, Cannon told TMZ that he was still waiting for all of the information to come out before he formed a full opinion about the issue. However, he did say that he was fairly suspicious about Poe from the get-go — mostly because he didn’t stutter at all during his exit interview following the audition. At first, Cannon thought that he was so excited it just wasn’t coming out — however, he now claims that Poe didn’t stutter simply because he “forgot” to do so and keep his story alive.
Even though it has been a full week since his audition aired, we still don’t know what the fate of Poe on the show is going to be. Howie Mandel suggested that he may still be allowed to compete based on talent alone, but the real question first and foremost is if he even makes it out of Las Vegas and into the live shows in New York.
What do you think about Cannon’s comments? Luckily, “America’s Got Talent” will be back with a new episode Tuesday night.

Do you seriously believe he’s the first? He’s the first to get caught. The others haven’t gotten caught in theirs. Susan Boyle?
