While Gordon Ramsay has been dominated Fox for months courtesy of “Kitchen Nightmares,” “Hell’s Kitchen,” and “MasterChef,” there has been one question constantly on the mind of everyone — just when it the chef’s other show in “Hotel Hell” going to premiere? The series was first scheduled to debut in the spring, but was later pushed into the early summer. Now, it finally has a firm premiere date of Monday, August 13 as a part of a two-night premiere at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.
If you have seen “Kitchen Nightmares,” then the format here is going to feel rather familiar to you. Every week, Gordon will travel around the country and meet with struggling hotel, and then try to find a way to improve things and save the business. Before this happens, though, you should probably anticipate some copious swearing, tears, and Ramsay threatening to walk away.
As for what experience Gordon really has in the hotel business, he has been around them all of his life — he worked in hospitality before making it s a chef, and many of his restaurants are also attached to such hotels as the London Savoy.
Just in case you haven’t seen a trailer for “Hotel Hell” yet, you can watch one of the old promos below from when the show was expected to premiere in June. Watch out for bugs!
