While watching the season 3 finale of “Glee” may have left a good many fans sobbing into their sofas, there is hope for Finn and Rachel to still somehow make their relationship work — at least if you listen to what Lea Michele is saying.
Both Lea and her onscreen (and rumored offscreen) boyfriend Cory Monteith were present at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles over the weekend, and she told E! News that she was still feeling fairly confident that Finn deciding to join the Army would not keep him away from Rachel permanently:
“It’s going to be interesting to see what happens. I know that there are many Finchel fans out there … Obviously, I love working with Cory, so I selfishly want them to work out, but, you know, we’ll have to see … “With these television characters, they pull them apart and they bring them back together.”
Basically, the best way to describe these conflicts are that they provide a shot of much-needed drama at a time where there is not exactly much to be found — and this at least makes us wait a little bit longer for a potential happy ending.
Executive producer Ryan Murphy has already said that Finn’s upcoming storyline is a “big secret,” and we are not likely to find out more about what he is up to until season 4 premieres following “The X Factor” in September. (Keep those hankies ready just in case!)
Do you think Finn and Rachel will get back together early during season 4, or do you think this is this something that is going to take a little bit more time?
