In looking at the world of “The X Factor” Monday, we are actually going to be taking a look both at the British and American versions of the show — with the one common thread connecting everything being the presence of judge Louis Walsh.
One Direction making concert film? – The newest rumor circulating around the internet is a big one, mostly in that British boy band (and series 7 contestants) One Direction are getting set to cash in with their own concert movie.
Ultimately, this does seem to be a pretty smart business move for the group to make. Justin Bieber raked in quite a bit with his “Never Say Never” feature film, and One Direction is approaching his popularity worldwide — even if Bieber still is the biggest thing since sliced bread in America.
We’ll have more details on this potential venture into cinema as we find out more.
Cher Lloyd opts for shorter ‘do – Just in case anyone has noticed Cher Lloyd making the promotional rounds to promote her new song “Want U Back” in America, she is doing so with a far shorter cut than what she was sporting previously. The look’s certainly understandable, since she is probably still having to get used to the heat of an American summer (particularly in the south) versus that in Britain.
Louis Walsh talks Kansas City auditions – Finally, we’ll close things off here with a new video (via TooFab) featuring Louis Walsh talking alongside Britney Spears, L.A. Reid, and Demi Lovato about the “X Factor” talent present in America. Louis ws a temporary replacement for an ill Simon Cowell, and he certainly seemed to be enjoying himself — even if everyone was in agreement that they had yet to see the superstar they were hoping for.
