Nevertheless:

There should never be a revival, since all the actors are much older(especially the vampire characters) and the damage has been done. Bill and Sookie were the 2 characters that were meant, from episode 1 of the first season, to end up together. Having lost that possibility in the cruelest, most demeaning contrivance (Sookie actually killing Bill- ridiculous!), there is no meaningful way to rectify that tragedy.
Keeping Pam and Eric together, scamming vampires and humans alike with their HepV antidote, was the ONLY part of that finale that was consistent with the characters and their personalities. The postscript ending taking place 4 years later was a big mouthful of sugary sweetness that rang false to the whole series.

Yes return it. With Bill revived. This was the best show on television and the later producers ruined it. Garbage ending. With all that, I think that none of the actors will ever be as successful as they were together on this brilliant show, even Skarsagard. Bring everyone back for another 8 seasons. No show compares to True Bloods great scripts, handsome actors, sex appeal original music and so on. Yes I liked Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy and currently root for Walking Dead and Bates Motel but nothing compares to True Blood. Bring all cast members back!!!!
