Want to know who is heading to some of your favorite cable TV series? Get ready — some of the following names may end up surprising you.
-Former “FlashForward” star Joseph Fiennes is close to a deal that will put him on the second season of FX’s “American Horror Story,” where he will be featured as a love interest for Jessica Lange’s new character. (Entertainment Weekly)
-Billy Brown of “Dexter” fame is looking to jump on board “Sons of Anarchy” for its fifth season, where he will take on the role of an assistant of sorts to Harold Perrineau’s gangster Damon Pope. (Deadline)
-This is the one that still has us reeling, mostly because it’s a casting that we never saw coming. According to TVLine, former “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale is also going to be on “Sons of Anarchy” for at least two episodes as a high-priced escort. This is far and away a different sort of role than she has ever taken on before, and with that in mind we have to think this is due to a desire by her to take on some more adult roles versus the image handed to her by the Disney Channel. (Let’s just hope that Kurt Sutter’s gamble here pays off.)
Luckily, we don’t have to wait too much longer for these two series to return to FX — they’ll both be back in a matter of months.
