‘Last Man Standing’ season 2: Tim Allen’s show loses Alexandra Krosney

The show is moving to Fridays in the fall.

Last Man Standing” is now getting set to venture down a path that only a few shows have successfully went down before  — re-casting a series regular after a full season has already aired.

According to a new report from TVLine, Alexandra Krosney (who played the oldest daughter of Tim Allen’s Mike Baxter) has been dropped from the cast due to “creative reasons.” The part will be re-cast for the upcoming fall season, which will be on Friday nights for the first time in an attempt to revive the famed “TGIF” comedy block of years past.

Unfortunately, there are no further details available at this time — but the most notable examples of this happening over the course of TV history are with Becky on “Roseanne” and Darrin on “Bewitched.” More recently, “My Wife and Kids” decided to re-cast the role of Claire after their first season.
