‘Pretty Little Liars,’ ‘The Lying Game’ episodes both heading to Netflix

The Liars are heading to Netflix.

If you want to catch up on past seasons of both “Pretty Little Liars” and “The Lying Game” without having to pick up a DVD boxed set, you’re now going to have a rather nice opportunity to do so.

In a new announcement via Netflix and Warner Bros. Television Distribution Monday, it was revealed that both of these ABC Family teen dramas will now be available exclusively on the paid streaming service. This means that the first two seasons of “Pretty Little Liars” along with the first season of “The Lying Game” will be available, and more will be added later on as they are finished airing on TV.

Since its debut in the summer of 2010, “Pretty Little Liars” has become the network’s highest-rated series in adults 18-49, while “The Lying Game” is still to this day picking up a following. Sadly, no new episodes of this show are set to air until winter — but you can check out the Liars in action Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Are you happy about this announcement, or is Netflix really not the sort of place you even go to for watching past episodes of TV shows?
