‘American Idol’ notes: Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, and Scotty McCreery

Kelly also met Bieber and Jepsen.

For our Sunday evening edition of “American Idol” notes, we’re all about video content from three of the most famous stars to come off of the show — and in the case of one of them, we now also have a video featuring a performance in London.

Kelly’s Summertime Ball bash – Kelly Clarkson has been in London the past few days, and over the weekend she had the opportunity to perform at the same Summertime Ball event as Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen — who you can see in the photo to the left with the signature “Call Me Maybe” pose. (We wonder if Carly’s getting sick of doing this yet.)

The original champ performed a number of songs at the Capital FM event, but the one we have below is of “My Life Would Suck Without You” — mostly because it is so much fun to listen to even years after it was first released.

Kelly will be back in the United States soon, as she will be taking part in the “Duets” live shows a little later on in the summer. (“Duets” is on at a special time this coming week — 9:30 p.m. Eastern — in order to accommodate the NBA Finals.)

Adam Lambert talks music and more – Adam has also been busy in London as of late, and we have a video of him in England along with one from his recent stay in Montreal.

We’ll begin¬†with¬†the latter, as the “Never Close Our Eyes” singer sat down with “District V” for a brief interview that aired in the past week. Parts of the video are in French, but the overall message pretty much remains the same.

Meanwhile, the other video is from the Ray of Sunshine event in London, and it comes to us courtesy of Showbiz 411. Enjoy!

Scotty hits a double! – Scotty McCreery joined Lauren Alaina and Carrie Underwood in participants at the recent City of Hope softball challenge in Nashville, and he took advantage of the opportunity to show off some of his batting skills.

The game is really for charity first and foremost, so we’re not going to go too in-depth about the pitching or anything else. Let’s instead just give three cheers to so many “Idols” for giving back!

As always, be sure to check back soon for more of the latest “Idol” coverage!
