i would love to see a Cas-centric Supernatural spin-off. It can be Angels and Demons and their interactions with each other and humans. Or just Angels vs Demons vs humans dynamics and just learning to co-exist etc. There are many brilliant fanfics already written so just have a look there. AND Misha is definitely the CHOICE for this spin-off. Honestly this would do Supernatural justice as well, since the producers and writers seemed determined to keep half a season for MOTW-just-Winchesters eps, and there are just not enough eps in any season to to keep said MOTW eps AND present a coherent stroyline. Hence as viewers we’re forced to follow a show full of plotholes and conflicting messages, and worse, characters with constipated emotions. With a Cas spin off, CW gets to keep the viewers to BOTH shows, AND added arsenal for guaranteed epic cross-overs. WHY THE HELL NOT? makes perfect business sense

I have to admit, at this point I mostly just watch the episodes he’s in and skip the ones he isn’t in. So yeah, it would be cool to have him around more often.

i think cas sd get his own spin off – he is a huge reason why so many pple continue watching the show and yet he is hardly ever seen – in season 10 hardly and season 11 same issue – the cw /spn dont want to give him any good plot ideas – he is always there for sam and dean and that is it. and yes there is a chemistry which allowed both jensen and misha to win a TCA for best chemistry – the only ss couple who did so. spin off cas – bring back some other characters – and see if cas gets his own love interest who at least respects him more than cw/spn writers do – misha has won a PCA and a TCA and he is regularly nominated for awards – and yet no pr is ever done for him – no recognition even from the so called cw pr – perhaps u sd ask why cw pr didnt even acknowledge him winning the pca last time where he was a write in nomination.

I wish they would ramp up the intensity between him and Dean again. I remember how I got into SPN… I happened to catch the episode of them in the Beautiful room and I was just hooked by the chemistry. I don’t mean like romantic chemistry (though it could go that way and be really, really tortured and angsty and angst is such sweet, sweet nectar to SPN fans.) But at the time I mean the chemistry of “I will lay down my life for you and humanity Dean because I am the lone good angel who still has faith, therefore you can still believe in something good and that something is me”

As much as I’d love to see Castiel more, I don’t really want a spinoff featuring him.
I want more Team Free Will, not Meanwhile Cas.

Right? The MOTW episodes where he HAS been involved have all been great (Hunteri Heroici, Baby, etc) and I really love seeing him interact with the boys. Which is actually why I wouldn’t want to see him on a spin-off.. I love him with Dean and Sam way too much to see him away from the main show, personally!

Misha is a talented actor who plays humor and pathos incredibly well, and I’ve loved seeing the character develop over the years as well as see his relationship with the Winchesters grow. He’s family now, really – as the boys have said before. So it’s high time he is used more on the show, because so many of us (fandom and general audience alike) love him just as much as we love the Winchesters. Team Free Will IS the reason I watch.
