It is fun and the cast likeable. Arquette is not the typical emotional lead here; her character leads with her intelligence and holds things close to the vest, and we know why per season 1. Too bad CBS has done horrid job at promoting the show, and gave it the Sunday 10 pm death slot. It deserves better.

How could you expect it could survive when you have poorly scripted story/plot lines, uninspiring characters and ho-hum castings? Arquette is a good actress, but Avery is just not her gig. Poor Danson had to be parachuted in to give this hopeless thing a hand, but even he couldn’t do anything for it. It’s time for CBS to can it.
