‘The Glee Project’ video: Samuel Larsen returns!

On Tuesday night’s new episode of “The Glee Project,” we are going to see the return of an old favorite — and we’ll also see contestant Aylin crush all over him (even though she does pretty much the same thing with Blake later in the episode).
Season 1 co-champion Samuel Larsen is the guest mentor for the episode, which really only seems to make sense once you consider that this same dance-related challenge is one that he ended up winning. (As for why the guy walks in without shoes, your guess is as good as mine.)
The new sneak peek for the episode (which is coming to us via E! News) also shows that there is some tension starting to brew between blind contestant Mario and some of the other contestants when it comes to how competitive he is over wanting certain lines in a song. Personally, we see that this is frustrating — but why wouldn’t Mario fight for the parts of the songs that he wants? It’s a competition!
Check back throughout the week, as we will have plenty more from the “The Glee Project” as it happens. (You can also check out our exit interview with Maxfield by heading on over to this link.)

Why is Samuel not wearing shoes? Because his character, Joe Hart, goes to school barefoot. Why does Mario rub people the wrong way? Because not only does he insist on the line of his choice, he says he doesn’t want Ali to get the line because he thinks it will look cliché for a girl in a wheelchair to sing “round and round and round.” That’s not just fighting for the line he wants, that’s denigrating someone else’s choice of how she will portray a line. Nellie comes off particularly well here because she readily concedes her line so both Mario and Ali can be happy.
