Adam Lambert performs ‘Trespassing’ set at G-A-Y in London

We have a special edition of “American Idol” notes for you on this Saturday night, and it’s all coming to us courtesy of Adam Lambert.
On what was technically early Sunday morning local time, Adam (who has been enjoying his time in the United Kingdom doing promo work for much of the week) stopped by the London location of the club G-A-Y in order to perform a six-song setlist that was strictly songs off of his sophomore album “Trespassing.” Based on what our sources are saying, this was the performance order for the event (which lasted about half an hour):
1. Trespassing
2. Kickin’ In
3. Shady
4. Naked Love
5. Cuckoo
6. Never Close Our Eyes
All reports are that it was an electric (and thoroughly engaging) performance — and really the only wish here was there were more than six songs. (But then again, don’t we always want more?) It was not the first time Adam has stopped by G-A-Y, as he last did so to perform some tracks off of “For Your Entertainment” back in 2010.
Check back later in the night, as we’ll have videos from the performances as soon as they are available online. Were you there for the performance — and if so, what did you think? We’ll also have a full “Idol” notes again come Sunday morning, so stay tuned!

Victor, that made me laugh, tickled. Adam is the all time Runner-Up of the century; see it can stand as a title in its own capacity, lol! :)

At least Matt did not call Adam the “runner up” when we all know by now that Adam is by far the most talented and popular contestant from Season 8.

No problem with an Idol mention. Even Adam says he would not be where he is if not for Idol. It is where most of us fell in love with him.
Can’t wait for videos from tonight!!

We run a TV site, so everything we do is linked back to TV. It’s never meant to be disrespect to Adam or any other former “Idol” we cover.

Nothing personal, but what’s with the “Idol” crap. How about Grammy-nominated or superstar, anything besides the old news that was Idol. It’s been a while since I’ve heard him referred to like that unless it was one of many descriptors.
