Amy Winehouse passes away at age 27; no evidence of foul play

Some incredibly sad news is coming out of London on Saturday. Multiple sources via Sky News are reporting that award-winning singer Amy Winehouse — best known for her hits “Valerie” and “Rehab” — has passed away. Her body was discovered at her London apartment.
As of right now, no details are available about her death. She has struggled in the past with both alcohol and drug addiction. She was 27 years old.
According to some new reports via the Mirror, the passing is not thought to be suspicious in any way. A call was placed to police around 4:05 p.m. local time, and her state was pronounced at the scene. While for now drugs and alcohol are believed to be the primary cause, this is what sources close to the situation currently believe.
Winehouse recently canceled a series of gigs after receiving terrible reviews following a performance in Serbia.

Sad but not at all surprising. After the cancellation of her tour, you just knew that the end wasn’t too far off for her.

I absolutely loved her, she was doing so well earlier this year, it’s horrible to see that it all went down so fast for her again. we’ll always love you Amy! your music will live on forever.
